Thursday, 22nd of August 2024, State House, Freetown, cross-section of National Union for Sierra Leone Students has met with the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone in a bid to promote the welfare of students with an improved learning environment for every Sierra Leonean student.
While these concerns were put forward, Mohamed Rex Bonapha, President of NUSS appreciated His Excellency President Julius Maada for his Free Quality Education initiative, congratulated him as UN Security Council President for the month of August and other recommendable areas of achievement.
He expressed delight for the commitment made by President Bio to the leadership of NUSS in order to strengthen Sierra Leone’s educational system.
President Bio acknowledging students as they continue to be the hope of our nation, noting that his government should continue to prepare for the future thereby prioritizing human capital development as one of his cornerstones.
“I am thankful for this opportunity to meet with H.E and look forward to seeing more sustainable development in our educational system,” President of NUSS said.
